Arkansas Tennis Hall of Fame Selection Criteria

• To honor those persons who, by excellence of their activities, participation and/or outstanding play, have brought recognition and esteem to themselves, and to tennis in Arkansas.

• Selection is based upon, but not limited to, outstanding playing record, coaching achievement, volunteer service to tennis and/or exceptionally noteworthy accomplishments. Arkansas achievements will be heavily weighted.

• Nominations may include coaches, volunteers, players, writers, umpires, and others who have made outstanding contributions to tennis in Arkansas.

• Nominees must:

• Be an Arkansas resident for a minimum of 10 years

• Be a member of the United States Tennis Association

• Display good moral character

• Have shown a lifetime commitment to tennis

Nominations plus resume for honorees may be submitted to the Committee by September 1.  Note: Nominations will be kept on file for a 5 year period. Supporting information can be accepted up to the time of the selection meeting. Contact Brittany Murphy for more information.
