Q. How do I register?
A. Everything is done online. You will need a USTA membership to participate in Jr. Team Tennis. To join or renew your membership,click here. Or go to tennislink.usta.com/teamtennis and click “Register to Play”. For written instructions, click here.
Q. Where are matches played?
A. Matches can be played anywhere. They can be played in local parks, schools or public or private facilities.
Q. What is the cost?
A. 2012 registration for Central Little Rock is $44 ($20 junior USTA membership + $24 registration fee). Different areas may have a different registration fee. PLEASE NOTE: If your child is a new member and age 10 or younger the USTA is providing FREE memberships until December 31, 2012. Click Here.
Q. When are the seasons?
A. Spring runs December-July; Summer runs March-September; Fall runs September-January; Winter runs December-April

Q. What are the differences in court size for the age divisions?
A. 8 years old and under play on a 36 ft court with red low compression balls, 2’9 net and 19”, 21” or 23” racquet. 10 years old and under play on a 60 ft court with orange low compression balls, 3’ net and 23” or 25” racquet. 11 years and older play on a 78’ court with yellow standard ball, 3’ net and 25” or 27” racquet.
Q. How do I find if my city has a local league?
A. You can contact a local league coordinator (click here for current listing) or go to http://tennislink.usta.com/teamtennis and click “Find a Program”.
Q. Are the uniforms required?
A. As of April 2011, the uniforms are no longer a requirement. They are still availiable for puchase if a team or individual wants to purchase one. Cost is $15 and can be ordered directly through Tennis Warehouse at www.tenniswarehouse.com/ustajrteamtennis.
Q. Where will State Championships be held?
A. Arkansas JTT State Championships will be held at Burns Park July 13-15. In order to qualify, you must play in 3 local league matches. Sectionals will be held in Auburn, AL August 17-19. All divisions except 8U can advance to Sectionals.
Q. Who is in charge of recording match scores?
A. Normally, the home team coach/captain enters scores but the visiting team coach/captain should go on to TennisLink to confirm that the correct scores have been entered.
Q. When is the age cut-off date?
A. A player must remain age-eligible through August 31st of the Championship year.
