Bolo Bash Tennis 2015

Brand new to Baptist Health and 35 years in the making, Bolo Bash Tennis is a new partnership between Baptist Health and the United States Tennis Association (USTA). Standard Business Systems is the Presenting Sponsor of the exciting 10 days of Bolo Bash Tennis, which will include action packed play with aspiring professional tennis players, a wildcard tournament for local tennis players, social events, kids’ day and the legendary Bollettieri Tennis Academy for all ages.

The USTA Men’s Pro Circuit event to be held in April is a pathway to the US Open and tour-level competition for rising tennis players. This tournament has hosted players such as the 2014 US Open Finalist Kei Nishikori who turned pro in 2007. Mark your calendar to watch exciting competition at Pleasant Valley Country Club Tuesday, April 14 – Sunday, April 19!

Sign up for the Bollettieri Tennis Academy is now open and everyone is encouraged to participate. All ages are welcome to come and train with the pros to take their game to the next level! The clinic will be held Friday, April 10 – Monday, April 13. To sign-up visit https://www.baptist-health.com/bolobashtennis.

Also available now is sign up for the Wildcard tournament. This is a chance for local tennis players to register and play for the wildcard slot in the Bolo Bash Tennis Tournament. The Wildcard tournament will begin Tuesday, April 7th. For more information and sign-up visit https://www.baptist-health.com/bolobashtennis.

The 2015 proceeds will purchase a Centrimag - a device to temporarily support the right or left side of the heart. Heart failure affects 5-6 million people in the US.  Of those 5-600,000 will have end-stage heart failure not treatable with medicine alone.  Baptist Health is the ONLY adult heart transplant facility and only adult mechanical circulatory support (MCS) program (heart assist devices) in the state of Arkansas.

We hope you will join us! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Rebecca Scaife at 501-202-1207 or rebecca.scaife@baptist-health.org.
