USTA players had a wonderful weekend while they participated in Mid season two; a competition to win a bid to state. Although every team played well, there were a few teams who truly played their hearts out! The winners for Mid season two include:
18 & Over 4.0 Women: Inboden of Jonesboro & Grace/McLarty of Little Rock
18 & Over 4.0 Men: Terrell/Rector of Little Rock
40 & Over 2.5 Women: Goodwin of Fayetteville
40 & Over 3.5 Women: Magee of Little Rock and McClendon-Lefforge of Fayetteville
40 & Over 4.5 Women: Taylor/Magee of Little Rock
Along with these winners, was the winner of a team door prize which included one case of tennis balls. Congratulations to the 40 & over 2.5 women’s team captained by Monica Moore. This door prize will be given out at every mid-season.
The next mid-season will be held May 5-9, 2017. All 18 & over 2.5, 3.5, 4.5, and 5.0 teams and 40 & over 3.0 and 4.0 are invited to register in the tournament. Captains must register their team and players must be registered on the team by Monday, April 24, 2017 at 10:59PM.
