PTR Arkansas Member of the Year
Will Campbell, of Little Rock, Arkansas, was named PTR Member of the Year for the State. This award is presented to a PTR member who has shown dedication and diligence in promoting and supporting tennis and PTR.
Campbell is PTR certified at the Professional level in two education pathways -10 & Under and Performance. In 2015 Campbell hosted two PTR certification workshops at his club so aspiring coaches could also get PTR certified. Campbell is also certified in Dr. Brian Gordon’s 3D stroke biomechanics. His son, also Will Campbell, is a PTR Professional in the PTR on Campus program.
Campbell is the Director of Junior Tennis at the Little Rock Athletic Club and Little Rock Racquet Club. The facilities have more than 300 juniors in the 10 and under and high performance programs. Campbell has coached numerous top level junior players at the state, section and national levels. He played college tennis on scholarship at Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi. His team was ranked # 3 nationally in NAIA.
PTR is the largest global organization of tennis teaching professionals with more than 15,000 members in 127 countries. It has the greatest percentage of multicultural and women members of any such organization. PTR is dedicated to educating, certifying and servicing tennis teachers and coaches around the world in order to grow the game.
