Many teams showed up this weekend ready to play their hearts out in a match to win a bid to state. Although everyone played well, there were a few teams who really had their eye on the prize. The winners this weekend include:

18 & Over 3.0 Women—Crafton/Boyette/LR/LRAC captains by Danielle Crafton and Jacqueline Boyette
55 & Over 3.5 Men—Lee/NLR/BP captained by Michael Lee
55 & Over 3.5 Women-Group 1- Worthington/LR/LRAC captained by Debbie Worthington
55 & Over 3.5 Women-Group2-Stroud/LR/LRRC captained by Joyce Stroud
55 & Over 4.0 Men-Russell/Bumpers/LR/LRRC captained by Bill Russell and Brent Bumpers
55 & Over 4.0 Women- Group 1-Woodard/FS/FSAC captained by Anita Woodard
55 & Over 4.0 Women – Group 2- Hunter/Buchman/LR/LRAC captained by Shirley Hunter and Tricia Buchman
Along with these winners, was the winner of a team door prize which included one case of tennis balls. Congratulations to the 55 & over 3.0 women’s team captained by Carol Van Scyoc. This door prize will be given out at every mid-season.
The next mid-season will be held April 7-9, 2017. All 18 & over 4.0 teams and 40 & over 2.5, 3.5, 4.5 teams are invited to register in the tournament. Captains must register their team and players must be registered on the team by Monday, March 27, 2017 at 10:59PM.
