Rogers Women National Finalists
At USTA League 2.5 Adult National Championships
USTA Arkansas is excited to congratulate the 2.5 Women Adult Team from Pinnacle Valley on their 2nd Place finish at the National Championships ! The women’s team from Rogers, representing the USTA Southern Section was a finalist in the National Championship match at the USTA League 2.5 Adult National Championships held at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, CA from September 23 to Sept 25.
The Rogers team was defeated by a team from Des Moines, IA , 2-1 in the Championship match. Earlier in the day, the Rogers team defeated a team from Pacific Northwest Section 3-0 in the semifinals. They advanced this far by winning their round-robin flight contested Friday and Saturday.
The team is captained by Jennifer Bohnert and Leslie Colebank and features Kimberly Chronister, Becky Alexander, Donna Field , Donna Russell, Shannon Gordon and plays at the Pinnacle Valley Country Club in Rogers.
