Coach Assessment Guide

If a player is 7 or 8 and is wanting to compete in green ball programs and/or tournaments, then they will need to be assessed by a certified USPTA or PTR coach. Coaches are now responsible to control whether or not their players can compete in green ball programs and/or tournaments. Coaches can change a player’s skill level within the USTA mobile application by using the Coach Assessment tool. The player and coach must be connected on the USTA mobile application in order for this process to be completed. Players under the age of 6 are not eligible for this assessment.

NOTE: The USTA mobile application is only available for Apple users. Android users will use the Net Generation mobile application to assess players.
