Calling all coaches! The Southern Ozaki Junior Cup is an annual event where the 9 states in the Southern section battle it out over 3 days of high-level competition. Each state’s roster is comprised of 24 players (3 from each division). Apply today if you are interested in representing Team Arkansas as a coach for this year’s Ozaki Cup! Closing out #NationalTennisMonth with our last player spotlight, Debbie Carr! 💫 Debbie's journey with tennis began when she met Jimmy Carr in 2020. Losing her husband a year prior, she was intrigued by Jimmy and his cowboy tennis persona. A few months later, she accompanied him on her first of many trips to Burns Park for a tennis tournament. As time passed, he began teaching her how to play tennis. Jimmy had been a college player and tennis pro back in the day. By the Fall of 2021, they tied the knot! After having never competed in the sport, she has fallen in love with playing tennis and the fun of competition. #LoveOnTheCourt #NTM #playtennis
